High-viscosity additive manufacturing technology provider, Quantica has selected Meteor Inkjet, the industry-standard for printhead drive electronics, to integrate its trusted electronics into Quantica’s transformative NovoJet™ printhead technology.
Quantica’s technology is capable of jetting complex functional materials—such as high-viscosity adhesives, advanced coatings, and micron particle-size inks—that have traditionally been beyond the capabilities of conventional printheads. This collaboration leverages Meteor's established reputation for powerful and reliable electronics, equipping NovoJet™ with electronics known and trusted across the globe.
NovoJet™ printheads, driven by Meteor electronics, push digital printing beyond traditional low-viscosity materials. By reliably jetting the highest viscosities, they open the door to advanced digital manufacturing and broaden what is possible in industrial production far beyond graphics.
Meteor’s Managing Director, Clive Ayling, comments:
“Meteor is proud to be working alongside Quantica to help bring their groundbreaking NovoJet™ printhead technology to market. Additive manufacturing is rapidly evolving, and the ability to jet a wider range of functional materials opens up enormous opportunities for innovation. By combining Quantica’s materials expertise with Meteor’s proven electronics and software, we’re enabling the next generation of high-performance, digital manufacturing systems.”
The first Quantica system equipped with Meteor drive electronics will be the Print Engine, a production-ready solution designed for integration into manufacturing lines and other industrial environments. Delivery of the engine is slated for 2026.
Together, Quantica and Meteor are setting a new benchmark for digital manufacturing performance, paving the way for broader adoption of high-viscosity jetting technologies across industrial sectors.
