IPI 2025 Unites Hundreds of Experts to Shape the Future of Industrial Printing

The Industrial Print Integration (IPI) Conference 2025, organised by ESMA, brings together the leading voices in functional and industrial printing for two days of innovation, collaboration, and inspiration. Taking place from 12–13 November 2025 at the Crowne Plaza Düsseldorf-Neuss, IPI 2025 is set to feature 60 presentations, including 4 keynotes, across three dedicated tracks, alongside an international exhibition and a vibrant networking programme.

With 50% of visitors expected to be first-time attendees, IPI 2025 reflects the growing global momentum in industrial printing and the sector’s continued expansion into new applications and markets. The event serves as the key meeting point for technology users, researchers, and manufacturers exploring the next frontiers of digital manufacturing, from printhead design and advanced materials to electronics, energy, and biomedical innovation.

Kick off IPI 2025 with Exclusive Free Waveform Training

11 November 2025 - 16:00–19:00 - Düsseldorf–Neuss

IPI 2025 begins a day early with a complimentary hands-on training session dedicated to waveform optimisation, open to all registered attendees. Led by Dr Mark Bale (DoDxAct), an independent expert with over 20 years of inkjet R&D experience, this interactive workshop explores the science and practice of waveform development for piezo DoD inkjet printing.

Participants will learn the fundamentals of printhead geometries, how waveform tuning influences drop formation, velocity, and stability, and gain first-hand insight through live demonstrations at dropwatcher stations with industry specialists.

The Waveform Training is now almost fully booked — only the last few seats remain!

Programme Highlights

Printheads – Productivity and Durability

From Fujifilm Dimatix through to Konica Minolta, Ricoh, RISO and Seiko Instruments, the printhead track dives into the technologies that define uptime and performance in industrial inkjet. Expect insights into lifecycle costs, long-throw jetting, dual-colour architectures, and the latest reliability testing data from research institutes and OEMs.

High-Viscosity Jetting – Inkjet Breaks the Limits

Quantica, Fraunhofer IPA, and Scrona demonstrate how today’s print systems can handle materials up to 250 mPa·s, bridging the gap between inkjet and screen printing. This opens new opportunities in electronics, coatings, and automotive manufacturing.

Emerging Technologies – Beyond the Droplet

Cutting-edge developments from Hummink, Profactor, Fraunhofer IAP, and IamFluidics show how inkjet is converging with nanotechnology, optics, and healthcare, redefining what “printing” means in next-generation manufacturing.

Printed Electronics & OEM Perspectives – From Lab to Line

This track highlights the practical journey of printed electronics into production, with contributions from SPGPrints, MicroCraft, and C-marx. Presentations will explore solder masks, battery printing, flexible PCBs, and structural electronics.

Organiser’s Perspective

“IPI 2025 brings together the innovators who redefine what industrial printing can achieve. With half of our visitors joining for the first time, it’s a powerful reflection of how fast this community evolves – and how collaboration continues to drive meaningful innovation.”

said Peter Buttiens, CEO of ESMA.
