AD CleanGlass™ and AD CleanFiber™ expanded solutions for packaging recycling and reuse

At the show, Avery Dennison spotlighted its expanded AD CleanGlass™ wash-off portfolio with its recently launched white film option. Developed in response to growing demand for reusable glass packaging and to meet brand sustainability targets, the white film joined the well-established clear version. Both solutions allowed easy and clean label removal from glass bottles in a conventional bottle washer at 80 degrees Celsius, optimizing the environmental benefits of reusable glass.

Avery Dennison also showcased AD CleanFiber™, the first range of INGEDE12-certified paper label solutions with newly developed adhesive technology that cleanly screened out from pulp during the recycling screening process, resulting in higher quality output for new cardboard and paper production.

Innovations in premium design and materials

Labelexpo marked the launch of the Infinity Collection, Avery Dennison’s new premium label portfolio that offered converters and designers greater creative freedom — enabling complex die-cutting, elaborate finishings, and a high-end look and feel, while ensuring reliable performance in application and use.

The company also presented new premium materials in the Sensorial Collection — such as Leatherlike Black, Limestone and rWood Skin — and an expanded Sustainable Collection, with an added focus on alternative fibers to paper pulp. This included the newly introduced Lin Fiber, which joined existing options such as Hemp Fiber and Cane Fiber.
