Sappi celebrates more than 20 years of Transjet excellence at FESPA 2025

At FESPA Global Print Expo 2025 in Berlin, from May 6-9, Sappi Europe will showcase its market-leading dye sublimation papers while celebrating the long-standing success of Transjet, a leading brand in the industry for over 20 years. Located at booth D70 in Hall 1.2, Sappi will demonstrate its comprehensive expertise in dye sublimation technology.

Where technical excellence meets sustainability

Visitors to Sappi's booth will experience a boutique-style environment that showcases the versatility of Transjet papers through real-world applications. A display will follow the entire process from unprinted paper to final sublimated textile, demonstrating the exceptional quality and colour performance that has made Transjet the industry benchmark for two decades.

Sappi offers comprehensive technical service and support to ensure best practice in the use of Transjet papers—from project planning and paper selection to consultancy on printers, inks, and other factors influencing the printing and transferring process.

Partnerships that drive innovation

During FESPA 2025, Sappi's Transjet papers will be demonstrated live at partner booths, including industry leader Transmatic (1.2-B40). The collaboration enable visitors to witness firsthand how Transjet papers deliver premium results when paired with leading printing and heat press technology.

Strategic investment in Carmignano Mill

Sappi has successfully implemented its recent investment at the Carmignano Mill in Italy. The company has installed two new plotter machines and an automated packaging line, with employees receiving comprehensive training to ensure optimal operation.

This enhancement enables Sappi to serve customers with all kinds of plotters, maxi plotters and mini jumbos with unprecedented flexibility and faster reaction to market demand changes. The new converting capabilities include widths from 30-340 cm, diameters of 11-47 cm, and lengths from 80-3000 m.
