KIWO is expanding its portfolio with two product innovations designed to meet different requirements in printing operations. With KIWOCLEAN® LM 686 VOC-free, the company is introducing a new ink cleaner for automatic washing systems, while KIWOFILM HD is being launched as a high-performance capillary film for the production of precise and cost-efficient screen printing stencils. Both solutions are aimed at supporting users with high efficiency, reliable performance and practical product properties in their day-to-day processes.
KIWOCLEAN® LM 686 VOC-free: Cleaning for automatic washing systems
With KIWOCLEAN® LM 686 VOC-free, KIWO is expanding its cleaning chemicals portfolio with a solvent-based ink cleaner specifically developed for use in automatic washing systems. The product supports users in achieving reliable and efficient cleaning in screen and pad printing applications.
KIWOCLEAN® LM 686 VOC-free reliably removes commonly used printing inks and is also suitable for cleaning tools, squeegees and other components in automated cleaning processes. Product benefits include universal applicability, a colourless and mild-odour formulation, and low evaporation losses.
Another important aspect is its regulatory classification: due to a boiling range above 240 °C and a vapour pressure below 0.1 hPa, the product is classified as VOC-free according to Directive 2010/75/EU (Industrial Emissions Directive, IED) as well as under the Swiss VOC incentive tax regulation.
KIWOFILM HD: Capillary film for precise and cost-efficient stencil production
With KIWOFILM HD, KIWO is expanding its stencil-making portfolio with a high-performance capillary film for producing high-quality screen printing stencils for demanding printing applications.
The product has been developed for users who value efficiency, reproducible processes and consistently high print quality. Thanks to short exposure times, fast water development and easy wet transfer, KIWOFILM HD enables fast and economical production – comparable to a pre-coated mesh.
Its benefits include faster production, consistent print quality, high run durability and maximum cost-efficiency. In addition, KIWOFILM HD supports controlled ink deposit, excellent edge definition and very good detail reproduction. The prevention of pinholes and standardised process parameters also contribute to a high level of process reliability.
KIWOFILM HD is resistant to solvent-based and UV inks and is particularly suitable for industrial screen printing, container printing on plastic and glass, high-resolution print images and long print runs.
