The global printing and conversion industry experienced a true turning point during ExpoPrint & ConverFlexo Latin America 2026. Held from March 24 to 28 at the Expo Center Norte in São Paulo, Brazil, the trade show exceeded all expectations and established a new benchmark for the sector on the continent.
Official figures confirm unprecedented success. During five days of technological immersion, with 100% of the exhibition area sold out, the trade show broke all its historical records by registering an attendance of 57,275 highly qualified visitors, who witnessed the new dimensions of printing live.
Business generation also stood out. The event reached an unprecedented level, surpassing R$ 1.7 billion in deals closed during the five days, significantly boosting the sector's economy and opening a wide horizon of opportunities expected to materialize in the coming months.
More than just numbers, ExpoPrint & ConverFlexo 2026 reaffirms its role as the primary catalyst for innovation, connections, and growth for the printing, packaging, flexography, and digital conversion industry in the Americas.
For Jorge Maldonado, president of Afeigraf (the association responsible for the trade show), the feeling is that of a historic milestone reached:
“We experienced something spectacular and unprecedented in the aisles of ExpoPrint 2026. We changed the history of the printing industry in the Americas. The breaking of attendance records and the significant volume of business generated prove the strength of our market and the confidence of entrepreneurs in the future. We showed the world the power of our industry,”
celebrates Maldonado.
The magnitude of the event reflects the monumental effort of gathering the entire global production chain on Brazilian soil. Ismael Guarnelli, president of APS Eventos Corporativos, the fair’s organizer and promoter, highlights the figures that confirm the scale of ExpoPrint:
“We delivered the largest edition of all time. More than 48,000 square meters were occupied by an intense energy of innovation and business generation—the consecration of a work guided by excellence.”
“The 20th-anniversary edition of ExpoPrint marked the largest meeting of our industry on the continent. We brought together over 460 exhibitors, more than 1,000 represented brands, and thousands of visitors, consolidating a platform rich in technological evolution and real connections, presenting a new dimension for printing,”
states Guarnelli.
Social Responsibility and Knowledge
ExpoPrint & ConverFlexo Latin America 2026 leaves an important social legacy and reinforces its commitment to professional training. A major highlight of this edition was the presence of the FESPA Foundation, a global movement that in Brazil is led by APS and FESPA, and which had Afeigraf as an "Angel Sponsor" during ExpoPrint.
The FESPA Foundation consolidates its activities based on strategic pillars: education, sustainability, social impact, innovation, and global collaboration, expanding the printing industry's role as a protagonist in economic and social transformation.
The project not only fulfilled its purpose but exceeded all established goals, recording a record volume of printed materials and clothing items produced, which are already being sent to partner institutions.
Knowledge Areas
The event stood out for the strong dissemination of practical and strategic knowledge. There were three content areas distributed throughout the fair, presenting fundamental topics for building an increasingly professional market, with a focus on best practices, management, sales, and marketing.
The Sustainability and Graphic Intelligence Congress brought up relevant discussions on management and sustainability, addressing innovation and eco-innovation as essential pillars for business evolution. The initiative was curated by Mr. Jorge Maldonado, who led debates aligned with the main global trends.
At the Personalization Island, an initiative by APS in partnership with FESPA and curated by Felipe Soares, visitors had the opportunity to learn from market experts and participate in live practical demonstrations, reinforcing the integration between knowledge and application. The area was supported by Mecolour and Sublivix.
The T-shirt Factory stood out as one of the most dynamic experiences of the fair. Curated by Henri Kanj and sponsored by Brother, Mecolour, and Camisetas El Elyon, the space presented strategic content, business fundamentals, and real cases shared by industry professionals.
PRINT Live
Crowning the experience and expanding the horizons of printing, the second season of the PRINT Live podcast featured Tiago Ferraresi as host and was recorded in a studio specially set up during the fair.
In total, about 60 guests participated in the recording of 20 episodes, generating rich and comprehensive content about the current state of the market, success stories, and the paths entrepreneurs should follow to continue evolving their businesses.
ExpoPrint & ConverFlexo Latin America 2026 is an Afeigraf trade show, with promotion and organization by APS Eventos Corporativos and strategic support from Abflexo/FTA-Brasil. The next edition is confirmed for 2030 in São Paulo, Brazil. Before that, FESPA Digital Printing will be held from March 1 to 4, 2027, also at Expo Center Norte.
