Hönle pleased about great interest in new products

From 11 to 14 September 2023, the Labelexpo took place in Brussels. UV specialist Hönle presented their LED-UV devices for fast and efficient curing of printing inks and coatings. Hönle shared the stand with its subsidiaries PrintConcept UV-Systeme and UV-Technik Speziallampen. "At last, we had the opportunity to exchange views face to face with customers, companions and interested parties, to get to know their needs and plans directly," says Dieter Stirner, Head of Sales at Dr. Hönle AG. Labelexpo has once again shown how important trade fairs are as a personal networking platform to initiate innovations and further development. And that packaging and label printing in particular, are still very important and growing markets.

Visitors showed great interest in the efficient and sustainable Hönle LED-UV devices, which have experienced a significant upward trend in recent years, an area in which Hönle has been one of the trendsetters from the very beginning.

New and a visitor magnet was the LED Powerline LC HV. The water-cooled LED unit with a supply voltage of 400 V DC achieves very high intensities of up to 25,000 mW/cm² for fast and reliable curing of printing inks and coatings. It has the option of format switch-off. The length of the LED Powerline LC HV can be modularly adapted to the application.

Another trade fair highlight was the new hybrid unit from PrintConcept. Thanks to its practical and easy-to-use cassette technology, the customer can decide at any time whether he wants to work with conventional UV or LED-UV for the upcoming print job. The electrical control system adjusts automatically. Replace the cassette and you're done – flexibility and future viability are guaranteed.

Labelexpo was a complete success for the Hönle Group, as Stirner emphasises: "We had interesting discussions about joint projects and very concrete purchase enquiries. This is exactly what a trade fair should be. We are looking forward to Labelexpo 2025 in Barcelona”.
