Founded in 1946, Lüscher is a Swiss designer and manufacturer of premium computer-to-screen (CTS) and computer-to-plate (CTP) imaging systems for the graphics and screen-printing industries. A long-time leader in screen-stencil imaging, Lüscher is renowned for quality, precision and innovation. With heat-transfer (HT) applications expanding quickly, Lüscher is dedicated to advancing HT screen printing with robust, high-performance solutions.
INO – a Slovenian manufacturer of advanced screen-printing machines – has over 35 years’ experience in textile-transfer production. As the single supply source for complete automated HT production lines, INO’s equipment offers very short set-up times, high accuracy and reduced waste. As a result, the company ensures the highest quality transfers.
The collaboration between INO and Lüscher has been a perfect match right from the start. Both companies share the same DNA. Firstly, a strong focus on innovation. Secondly, the drive to continuously move their businesses forward. Thirdly, the ambition to offer the HT industry the best products available on the market.
“Efficiency in screen preparation and printing process is crucial”
What truly sets this partnership apart is the high level of flexibility on both sides. INO and Lüscher are able to react quickly to the rapidly evolving needs of the HT sector. This speed of response applies whether it is adapting technology, fine-tuning processes or developing new solutions. Agility, combined with decades of expertise, ensures that customers benefit, not only from leading-edge technology, but also from a partnership that is fully committed to their long-term success.
Lüscher’s MultiMesh! is a digital screen-making technology. It is a part of direct printing of garments and promotional goods, especially dedicated for HT applications. Its creation required years of dedicated research and extensive testing under real production conditions. INO, with its fully automated HT Line A6-P5-D6-S3, played a central role in validating and refining the technology.
Benedikt Strebel, CEO at Lüscher Technologies AG, explains, “This groundbreaking technology marks a breakthrough in the preparation of screens for textile transfers. It took years of intensive development. Throughout this journey we relied on strong partners to move forward.” He goes on to say, “INO played a crucial role by helping identify what really mattered and providing the opportunity to carry out major tests.” Strebel concludes, “Together, the teams refined and adapted the technology specifically for the HT market.’’
At INO, rigorous testing on the HT line confirmed MultiMesh!’s suitability for serial production. It also demonstrated seamless compatibility with INO’s equipment. Detailed results are available on request from either INO or Lüscher.
“INO’s equipment offers very short set-up times, high accuracy and reduced waste”
Beno Šubic, Project Manager at INO, states, ‘’For INO, joining the testing phase of MultiMesh! development was a natural step. As the provider of complete automated lines for HT production, we are uniquely positioned to validate new technologies under real serial production conditions.” He continues, “This process ensures that innovations move from the laboratory to practical and become a proven tool for our customers.’’
Today, one of INO’s HT-printing machines is installed in Lüscher’s showroom and demo centre. Customers can experience, firsthand, the simplicity and efficiency of this new technology.
At Lüscher’s request, INO quickly customised their ¾-automatic PRINT V6 press for sheet-to-sheet printing, adding a quick-change module for t-shirt printing. Using pre-set recipes, the machine enables tailored demonstrations for both sheet-to-sheet and direct textile screen printing.
Together, INO and Lüscher are able to serve the HT market with a complete solution requiring no additional machinery. This makes their collaboration a perfect combination. Their partnership unites innovation, efficiency and customer focus in a way that sets a new benchmark for the industry.
The two companies are confident that this partnership will continue to grow, delivering lasting value to their customers and strengthening their own positions in the market.
